Heather Williamson




















Heather Williamson received her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from Valparaiso University and her Master's Degree in Viola Performance from The Hartt School of Music. She is a registered Suzuki Violin teacher and has completed training through Book 10 with Edward Kreitman, Nancy Jackson, and Doris Preucil. Heather specializes in working with children as young as three years old but enjoys working with students of all ages. In addition to teaching at the Adler Center, she is also on the faculty at the Suzuki Orff School of Music.

Heather performs regularly on both violin and viola and has been a member of the Northbrook Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony, New Britain Symphony, and Wallingford Symphony. She currently performs around the Chicago area with her string duo, Magnolia Strings.
